WHO WE ARE
Space Building Services was established in 2007 by Managing Director Richard Higgs. Based on highest quality working practise and completely on word of mouth referrals, the company has grown from strength to strength.
Richard followed in his Father’s and Grandfather’s construction footsteps and he also completed a Building Science Degree. After graduating, Richard held positions for leading UK home builders including Redrow, Byrant and Wimpey.
Since establishing Space, Richard has recruited a team of highly qualified and skilled construction workers who provide all aspects of extension, renovation and restoration work. Specialist projects include Victorian properties and more recently – ‘Smart’ homes (those equipped with lighting, heating and electronic devices that can be controlled by smartphone or computer).
Richard and his team understand that building projects (and associated terminology) may be unfamiliar to some clients. They also anticipate the stress and upheaval that building work in ones home may cause. It is always a ‘Space’ priority that work is carried out to the highest standards, paying particular attention to safety, cleanliness and the upmost regard for client satisfaction.
